Role Overview

As our Database Administrator, you will take charge of managing, maintaining, and optimizing our databases to ensure performance and scalability. Your responsibilities will go beyond traditional database management, as you will actively support various business operations, including sales, development, data integration, and infrastructure improvements.

You will collaborate closely with multiple departments providing technical expertise to drive innovation and process automation.

Job description

• Administer, monitor, and optimize database performance to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate data-driven solutions.
• Support data analytics initiatives by ensuring data availability and reliability.
• Develop and implement database security protocols and backup procedures.
• Assist in automating business processes through data integration and infrastructure optimization.
• Provide technical support across departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.

Personal competences

• Familiarity with cloud-based database services.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, multi-departmental environment.

Required studies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Some experience or academic exposure to database administration.

Language knowledge

• Dutch or French (very good)
